Overview

CDL List is a static informational website. We do not operate user accounts, collect personal information through forms (other than corrections submissions), or sell data to third parties. This policy explains what limited data may be collected and how it is handled.

Information we collect

Server and CDN logs

Like most websites, CDL List is served through a CDN (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare may log standard request data including IP addresses, browser user agent strings, request paths, and timestamps. This data is used for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this data.

Analytics

If we use web analytics, we use privacy-preserving analytics that do not track individual users across sessions, do not set persistent tracking cookies, and do not share data with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not use Google Analytics or other advertising-network analytics products.

Corrections submissions

If you submit a correction or feedback, the information you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) is used only to process your submission. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your contact information with third parties.

Cookies

CDL List does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies present are functional cookies set by infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare security cookies) or are necessary for site functionality.

The interactive checklists on this site use your browser's local state for checkbox toggling — this data is not transmitted to any server and is reset when you reload the page.

Third-party links

This site links to external government websites (FMCSA, eCFR, state agencies) and other official sources. These external sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

Children's privacy

CDL List is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
